Safewell Solutions are expert scientific engineers and their product catalogue includes devices which will purify drinking water, waste water, compressed process air and compressed breathing air. Safewell have also worked with their client base to develop a process monitoring solution which insures health and safety compliance via telemetry and web technologies throughout entire production processes.
Replacing an old static HTML website, the brief for this product required a fresh, clean, corporate style and a structure which would allow for the addition 1000+ content items over the life cycle of the site. The simple to use yet powerful CMS (content management system) will allow Safewell to manage this vast amount of content themselves without any need to get a web developer involved when adding or updating pages. Working away behind the scenes is a powerful downloads manager which allows Safewell to provide hundreds of manuals and advertising materials with ease. For registered clients the website includes an efficient and secure client portal which allows them to get access to past training certifcates and product test reports.

Warheads: Medieval Tales
Warheads: Medieval Tales is a new table top role-playing and war gaming adventure. The game is set in a fictional era of British history in which Saxons and Normans battle for supremacy, with hysterical results. The product is driven by a magazine which delivers the core rules and story and metal miniatures which represent the heroic retinue of Sir Hugo and the dastardly band of Gui l' Batard.
A new site and brand, Mad Cat Digital were given the opportunity to design the website, magazines and box art from a clean slate using the fantastic artwork that the Warheads team provided. The website is designed to grow as the product line develops and uses in line links and sub section menus to help drive users around the site- specifically to goal pages, be it an order page or the user registration page. The web site Features an extensive community platform; which includes functions for social networking, user submitted images and photos as well as a forum which integrates seamlessly into the main website.

Big House Events
Big House Events specialise in providing event services for the corporate, theatre, private and public sectors. Big Houses' clients include the Edinburgh International film festival, BBC Proms in the Park and they also provide lighting for Edinburgh's famous Military Tattoo.
Renovating a long standing site, the brief required a fresh, new corporate site using their existing logo and branding. Technically Big House wanted improved SEO (search engine optimisation) and a simple to use yet powerful CMS (content management system) so that they could change text, images and add new pages themselves. The site also features a powerful image gallery and location services powered by Google.
We decided to contract Madcat Digital to redesign and develop our website due to their personable approach and the fact that they listened to our needs and wrote a relevant brief for the company. ECS Scotland
ECS Scotland is an English language school based in Edinburgh and specialising in intimate, small group teaching for foreign students. The ECS website was designed in 2007 and resulted in an immediate increase in the number of enquires and bookings they were receiving through the internet. Recently the site was updated to include a member area for agents, students and staff. Agents can now securely login to access a more specific application form, publicity materials and the latest school guidelines. Students can login to get access to and download learning materials, a feature provided by many modern universities. Staff have the ability to login, change page content and upload new documents.

The Student Newspaper
The official website for the University of Edinburgh's student newspaper. Designed in 2008, the website allows visitors to find the latest news and features written by the talented young journalists at the University. Editors and journalists can login to the website to upload new articles and images themselves, meaning that there is virtually no time constraints on getting breaking news available to their readers. Receiving a large amount of traffic from around the world, the website enjoys a lively community that rarely fails to produce debate in the comments section at the end of each article.

Land Warrior Skirmishing
Land Warrior Skirmishing is an airsoft skirmish site near Gorebridge. The website is designed with a pesudo military feel and features an event calendar, birds eye view map and photo gallery. The website also features a weather module that reports the sites current conditions using an XML feed from weather.com
